Welcome to Little Rituals, a holistic boutique and sanctuary space on Ocracoke Island. We’re here holding space for restoration and remembrance of body, mind, and soul… and Ocracoke, and the journey itself, supports this. As soon as you arrive on the island, you can feel the slower tempo, a shift in how life unfolds here, a deeper connection to Earth. There is a sense of renewal just by being here, surrounded by ocean, vast nature, and quietude, and it creates a true sense of peace, presence, and awe.
Little Rituals and the offerings we share support this sense of calm + presence. Whether it’s crystals, clean beauty, items for self-care or your altar—or a sound meditation, Reiki session, or tarot read—our mission and passion is to share items and practices that support you in weaving the sacred into the everyday. To help you shift a habit into a ritual. To share a practice that offers you the exhale your body, mind, and spirit have been asking for. We’re here to share a sense of sanctuary + deeper connection to life.

How It Began
An Island, a Vision & a Return Home.
In January 2022, we were offered a commercial space on Ocracoke and asked one question: "What would your vision be for it?"
Nick grew up on this island, and I had long dreamed of a space that wasn’t just a store but an invitation… into joy, rest, and healing. Together we saw what Ocracoke was missing: a sanctuary for holistic living, stocked by makers who share a belief in intentional, interconnected life.
Our paths first crossed on this same island in 2010, and we returned in 2020 to settle here for good. Little Rituals opened its doors in April 2022, and it has been a gathering place ever since. Today it lives in two spaces on the island: the shop, and its sister space, the Sanctuary Room.

First Find Us.
Our boutique on Irvin Garrish Highway is where most people first find us. Healing stones and raw gemstones, clean beauty from makers we trust, handmade talismans, candles, books, and pieces from local artisans, herbalists, and conscious makers around the world. Each item is chosen for its story and its purpose.

Our Sister Space
The Sanctuary
Room.
Just down the road is our sister space, the Sanctuary Room. It's a quiet, intimate room set apart from the shop, and it's where our sound meditations, moon circles, 1:1 sessions, and trainings are held. Here the bowls, gongs, and Reiki get the stillness they need.
