Your body is trying to tell you something... Are you listening?

Hello dearest Little Ritualers,

Your body is trying to tell you something.
Are you listening?

One thing I continue to witness, within myself, within this community, and honestly collectively, is how disconnected so many people have become from their bodies.

Not because people don’t care.
Because we’ve been conditioned to override ourselves.

To push through exhaustion.
To numb.
To distract.
To stay in our heads.
To keep moving even when the body is asking us to slow down.

And eventually the body starts speaking louder.

Through burnout.
Through anxiety.
Through emotional overwhelm.
Through tension.
Through fatigue.
Through grief.

I honestly believe there’s a collective grief so many people are carrying right now that’s quietly burning out the nervous system.

And this Taurus New Moon feels deeply connected to all of it.

Not just because it’s a Supermoon.

But because Taurus rules the body.

Taurus is an earth sign connected to:

the nervous system
the physical body
the senses
groundedness
nourishment
rhythm
embodiment

So even if astrology isn’t usually your thing, stay with me here, because I can almost guarantee many of you are already feeling this Taurus energy play out physically, emotionally, and mentally within yourself.

I’m seeing so much emotional tenderness right now.
So much overstimulation.
Overscrolling.
Overthinking.
Burnout.
Disconnection from self.

And honestly, exhaustion from trying to keep up with a pace of life that doesn’t feel sustainable for the human body or spirit anymore.

This New Moon feels like an invitation to move less from the mind and anchor more deeply into the body.

Because the body has wisdom. Ancient wisdom.

Our emotions have wisdom too.

I always say emotions are divine messengers. Energy in motion. Signals asking us to pay attention.

And this Taurus energy is asking us to listen.

To slow down enough to hear what the body has been trying to communicate underneath all the noise.

As we move through the fertile darkness of this New Moon, we’re being invited to plant intentions rooted in nourishment, simplicity, presence, authenticity, and nervous system support instead of performance.

To reconnect with ourselves again.

To soften.

To create more space for what actually supports our wellbeing.

Astrologically, there’s a lot supporting this right now too.

Jupiter moving through Cancer is amplifying emotional sensitivity, healing, nourishment, and emotional memory. It’s tender energy. Nurturing energy. The kind of energy that wants us to care for ourselves differently.

And Pluto in Aquarius continues to expose just how unsustainable so much of modern life has become — especially the overstimulation, overperformance, and disconnection from what actually matters.

I think collectively we’re craving something softer.
Something slower.
Something more real.

And honestly, that’s so much of the heart behind Little Rituals and the work I do as a whole.

Providing sacred - dare I say safe - spaces for people to reconnect with their physical, emotional, energetic, and mental bodies. To deepen their relationship with themselves. To better understand the language of their body, emotions, nervous system, and inner world.

Not perfectly.
Just intentionally.

A few supportive practices that feel especially aligned with this New Moon energy right now:

• yoga + mindful movement
• breathwork + nervous system regulation
• sound baths + sound healing
• sensory rituals
• less scrolling, more presence
• time in nature
• intentional rest without guilt

Journal Prompt For This New Moon:
What would shift in my life if I started prioritizing what feels nourishing to my nervous system instead of what looks productive from the outside world?

I also want to share that my women’s retreat this October 22–26 at the Sanderling Resort is being created with all of this in mind.

Rest.
Repair.
Embodiment.
Movement.
Nourishment.
Softness.
Space to reconnect with yourself again.

A space for women to put everything down for a moment and simply be held.
